Pastoral Visits

Hospital Visits

In trouble and in joy, help us, O God, to trust your love, to seek your purpose and to praise your name: Through Jesus Christ or Lord. Amen.

Most people value medical attention and treatment when they are sick or injured. However, it can still be stressful time for patient, family and friends alike. A pastoral care visit from the chaplain or a trained church member can be supportive and appreciated. This is especially true when our worries and concerns are listened to on an impartial basis.

General Pastoral Visiting

We love because he first loved us – 1 John 4:19

Pastoral case comprises care for the whole person – body, mind and spirit, as God cares for us, and bringing the love of Jesus into each individual situation. If you would like to have a confidential word or visit – or indeed if you know of anyone who might benefit from such help, please contact our chaplain. Where a visit is impracticable or inappropriate, the church as fellowship often send a best wishes / get well card.

Bereavement Visiting

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God. Trust also in me – 1 John 14:1

Coming to terms with a bereavement can be a long and complicated process. If at any time it would be helpful to have some extra support on a confidential basis, please contact Stephen, Chaplain.
