Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles. On this day, Christians remember the Last Supper. During the meal Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples. Christians continue to share bread and wine as part of their worship in church.Dear brothers and sisters,
Please find below an important letter regarding safeguarding training. If you could send a quick reply, I would be very grateful. Also attached is a copy of the safeguarding poster which will soon be going up in the church.

Hebrews 9 explains the meaning of the Old Testament blood ritual (vv. 16-22) and the once and for all offering of Jesus that brought animal sacrifice to an end (vv. 23-26). Bearing our sin, He willingly died and shed His blood to become our sacrifice. We now have confidence to enter God’s presence. How could we ever thank Jesus enough for making His sacrifice our sacrifice, His life our life, and His Father our Father? Lord, we thank You for Jesus and for the shedding of His blood for us. We want to live our lives in gratitude to You. Amen.Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness -Hebrews 9:22
Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His footstool —Psalm 99:5We can enter the presence of God with confidence because Christ has opened the way for us through His sacrificial death on the cross. As the one true God, He is worthy of our highest adoration and praise. Lord, fill us with wonder and gratitude for Your marvelous salvation. Help us to give You the praise You deserve, and enable us to be faithful in our love and obedience to You.
